Candidates selected for this role will be responsible for:
Database & System Administration
- Design & implement Oracle/MS SQL and other environments
- Perform tuning, monitoring & performance optimization
- Handle upgrades, patching & shell scripting
Data Protection & Backup
- Conduct regular backups, ensure secure storage
- Maintain replication for business continuity
Security & Access Control
- Manage user access & database security protocols
Capacity & Project Management
- Plan for data growth, develop standards & policies
- Lead migration/integration projects and documentation
Support & Monitoring
- Carry out daily system monitoring for 24x7 uptime
- Work closely with infrastructure/application teams for issue resolution
