🔶 Role – Shunting Operations Lead
This position requires leadership, coordination, and performance supervision across multiple logistics nodes. You will work with warehouse teams, transport units, controllers and supervisors to ensure smooth movement, accurate documentation and timely dispatch of cargo.
🔹 Key Job Responsibilities
- Supervising daily shunting operations from ICDs & warehouses
- Ensuring container movements & truck schedules align with client requirements
- Managing manpower, shifts, permits & vehicle allocation
- Maintaining compliance with regulations & weight limits
- Leading safety briefings and toolbox sessions for drivers & staff
- Monitoring turnaround time, delays & operational efficiency daily
- Reducing idle time and increasing productivity
- Ensuring accurate documentation – movement sheets, PODs, Forms on Fire submissions
- Performance reporting (daily/weekly/monthly dashboards)
- Coordinating with internal teams for transporter scheduling & customer delivery plans
